The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
